To hear Greg tell it, he's been waiting his entire life for a dog. Now he has one.

Greg's Mom and Dad had been pondering the puppy possibility when Greg's 4th Grade teacher, Karen McGlade, said "Greg would be so great with a puppy!" So a stuffed animal was wrapped and waiting under the Christmas tree — just to keep Greg company until, finally, on April 20th, 2004, Heidi the Bichon Frise came home with us. Amazingly cute, isn't she?
